While the financial support of funders and sponsors is necessary for the organization’s existence, the community generated by and at SAW Video is the energy and spirit that creates goals, brings ideas and concepts to fruition, and gives the organization purpose. Born through artistic production, programming, workshops, outreach, committee work, and day-to-day interaction between staff, board, members and the general public, SAW Video’s community is essential to its existence and an important cultural presence in the Ottawa-Gatineau region.
