A Look at IFCO's Filmmakers - A Screening and Workshop Series

IFCO is happy to announce the introduction of a special screening and workshop series. Over the next 3 months we will be offering an opportunity for members and non-members a chance to learn more about and from some of the co-operative's prominent filmmakers.

Each full day screening will include an artist talk and or workshop. The individual filmmakers and their area of expertise will determine the focus of each workshop.

The series will start off with two very talented filmmakers who have two very different styles of filmmaking. On August 12th Kelly Egan will be screening a selection of her films, as well she will be giving an introduction workshop to experimental filmmaking and the techniques to cameraless animation. On August 26th Korbett Matthews will be screening his films and giving a workshop on documentary filmmaking. Both of these
filmmakers have a great deal of experience and knowledge and are very excited to have the opportunity to share it with you.

Other IFCO filmmakers to share their films and talents during this series include Lee Demarbre, Kelly Ann Beaton, and Bridget Farr. Times and dates for the screenings will be posted in the weekly e-bulletin and on the
website as they become available.
