In this master class, Above All Else director John Fiege will tell the story of how the documentary came to life. John will show clips from the film and will discuss his decisions as a director – beginning with a long and complicated development process, through shooting under difficult conditions, to bringing the film to audiences. John will also address participants' questions related to making their own socially-engaged documentaries. Participants are encouraged to bring stories and questions related to documentary filmmaking, finding compelling characters, stylistic approaches, and engaging with larger social issues through film.

To reserve a place in this master class, please contact pixie.cram@oneworldarts.ca.  Please note that spaces are limited.
