Adobe After Effects is a powerful software tool for visual effects and motion graphics. It allows users to animate, alter and composite media in 2D and 3D with various built-in tools. Through exploring intermediate functions in After Effects this workshop will help you add production quality to your future video projects. Topics include masking and reflections, roto-scoping, compositing, alpha channels, layers, motion and key-frames. This workshop will take participants through the process of creating a Name Plate in After Effects which will teach the use of 3D functions.  This workshop will also focus on how to create a Matte Painting which will demonstrate compositing and working with multiple applications at once.

Participants in this Workshop are also welcome to bring in their own After Effects projects to get assistance and direction from the instructor on specific topics.

NOTE: with all editing workshops at SAW Video you receive an extra 3 hours to practice on your own time. Arrange with a Technical Coordinator post@sawvideo.com / production@sawvideo.com
