Video for the Web
Want to learn how to produce short videos and upload them to the web? This 2-day workshop will focus on video production intended for the internet. Day one of the workshop participants will create short videos and on day two, learn to publish them to a website. Topics covered will include basic video production, formatting and compressing video, and which sites to access such as Youtube and Vimeo.
Instructor: Jake Hanna
Jake Hanna is an Ottawa-based video artist who has been heavily involved in the technological configurations of SAW Video for almost 10 years. His work spans the gamut of spectacle from commercial productions to designing for The Power Ring of the Ottawa Senators' Scotiabank Centre to art house experimentation.
