"Nightmare" is a purely emotional and somatic work of image and sound. It is meant to conjure the immediate experience of a nightmare. Statement: Space, time, light, and sound are rhythmically orchestrated to disorient and re-orient the viewer, increasing the viewer's sensory deprivation amidst the barren isolation of a wasteland. Carefully selected images of handprocessed film were combined with a dissonant, somatic soundscape. It is meant to be seen BIG, as the only light source in the viewing room, and it is meant to be LOUD. As such, the effect may be lost on the internet...
