Time-Lapse Video

Time-lapse of Ferris wheel

Time-lapse is the technique of taking a sequence of frames at set intervals to record changes that take place slowly over time. When the frames are shown in quick succession, the action that has taken place over a longer duration can be replayed or seen in a much shorter period of time.  This workshop will be an introduction to the technique of creating time-lapse videos and will focus on the use of SAW Video’s Sony A7SII and Sony A7SIII Camera’s.  Day 1 of this Workshop will focus on Camera settings and shooting time-lapse Videos.   Day 2 will focus on Post-Production and editing techniques for time-lapse videos.

This course requires an understanding of exposing images, and as such, it is recommended that participants have a basic understanding of setting exposures, or that they’ve taken SAW’s prerequisite Workshops.

Participants are welcome to bring in their own Camera’s for this workshop if they are capable of time-lapse.  Please note that you are responsible for the care of your own camera during the workshop.
