Colour Correction

Colour correction has become an integral part of any post-production workflow allowing editors to take their visuals to the next level and adding a professional look to their work. This introductory workshop covers initial conform, workflow, raw colour grading, and final export for various NLE platforms and will focus on the use of both HD and 4k workflows.

This workshop is divided into 3 consecutive Tuesdays to give participants a week between classes in order to complete exercises and familiarize themselves with the software.

Materials

  • A laptop with a microphone and an internet connection*
  • Zoom Account (register for the free account here). Link for the virtual classroom will be sent to participants on Tuesday September 8th.  
  • A computer with the latest Davici Resolve 16 installed, available here
  • Recommended system requirements for DaVince Resolve: RAM: 16GB , GPU: 4GB VRAM, CPU: 4 core or higher (Intel Core i7 or AMD Ryzen 7). 

 

*Virtual Participation 

This workshop is an interactive learning experience. This means interested registrants must have access to a webcam or microphone and have them both on to be eligible to participate. You can expect each course to have introductions, room for questions and discussion.
