Adobe After Effects is the software of choice for creating professional quality motion graphics and special effects for video. The purpose of this workshop is to introduce users to the powerful capabilities of this program and how it can be integrated into your projects. Through a series of practical tutorials, this hands-on introduction will have students complete a few basic projects in order to gain an understanding of this flexible design tool. Some of the most frequently asked questions and requested operations in After Effects will be answered and addressed. Projects will be divided evenly between motion graphics and compositing. Students should leave the class with a base knowledge of visual effects workflow and how to make a motion graphic.
