Introduction to Adobe Premiere Pro CC

SAW Video has Adobe Premiere Pro Creative Cloud installed on our MAC workstations. Adobe Premiere Pro CC is powerful video editing software that you can use to edit your digital film and offers cross-platform interoperability with other Adobe software in the Suite. This beginner course will get you familiarized with the interface, cover basic steps of the editing process from capturing digital media; editing with the timeline; using audio and video filters; and finally, exporting to various file formats including for web-based presentation.

NOTE: with all editing workshops at SAW Video you receive an extra 3 hours to practice on your own time. Arrange with a Technical Coordinator /

Maayke Schurer is an artist and filmmaker from Victoria, British Columbia. In her work, she specifically focuses on environmental issues that are expressed through magic realistic nature documentaries.  Subsequent to graduating from Queen’s University with a BFA in Fine Art and a BSch in Biology she went on to complete an MFA at the Glasgow School of Art in Glasgow, UK.  While Maayke continues to exhibit and undertake residencies internationally, she looks forward to being an active contributor to SAW Video and the Ottawa community.
