 |  | Penny McCann Director Penny McCann has been making films and videos since 1990. Her work, which ranges from dramatic to experimental, has been widely broadcast and exhibited at numerous festivals and galleries nationally and internationally. A long-time member of SAW Video, Penny became director in January 2004. In 2007, in recognition of her contribution to the Ottawa media arts community, Penny was awarded the Victor Tolgesy Award for achievement in the arts. penny@sawvideo.com |
 |  | Erin Kelly Administrative Coordinator Erin Kelly has been involved in Ontario's visual and media arts communities for the past nine years. A graduate of Fleming College’s Museum Management and Curatorship Program, and a member of the board of Peterborough's Artspace from 2003 to 2004, she went on to work at Galerie SAW Gallery from 2004 to 2006 in the capacity of Communication and Outreach Officer. After acting as SAW Video’s Interim Office Coordinator, she transitioned into the role of Administrative Coordinator in April 2007. Erin is responsible for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and the administration of SAW Video's Production Funds. erin@sawvideo.com |
 |  | Ashleigh Horricks Technical Coordinator (Production) Ashleigh Horricks graduated from SAW Video's Youth On Line internship program in 1999, and has been working at SAW ever since. She is the Technical Coordinator and takes care of equipment rentals and maintenance, as well as working with the equipment committee and the other staff to direct equipment acquisitions for the centre.  |  | Doug Smalley Technical Coordinator (Post-production) Doug Smalley is a graduate of York University's Film and Video production programme. Since graduating in the spring of 2000, Doug has been active as a freelance videographer and editor and a volunteer crew member on several local Ottawa video productions. In 2002, Doug founded "AceHeart Studios", a fledgling video production company. Doug joined SAW Video in 2002 as Technical Support/ Workshop Coordinator and assumed the duties of Technical Coordinator in 2006. doug@sawvideo.com |
 |  | Philippe Hamelin Programming Coordinator Philippe Hamelin completed a degree in film studies at University of Montreal, and a Masters in Fine Arts (Studio Arts) at Concordia University (Montréal) after completing research at the Villa-Arson (Nice, France). Since his arrival in Ottawa, Philippe has been very involved in the artistic community of the capital region as an active board member at Galerie SAW Gallery (Ottawa) and Daïmon (Gatineau). An Independent curator and artist, Philippe’s artwork focus on experimental video and sound in various forms: single channel, installation, and performance. Philippe is interested in alternative presentation contexts and welcomes exchanges and collaborations. philippe@sawvideo.com |
 |  | Ariel Smith Workshop Coordinator Ariel Smith is an award winning, emerging film and video artist currently residing in Ottawa by way of Vancouver and Montreal. She has been creating independent works for the past 6 years many of which have screened internationally.
