Club SAW is an informal 1,000-square-foot black space suitable for members' screenings, curated screenings, auditions, production meetings, receptions, fundraisers, artist talks, workshops, musical events, theatrical productions, literary readings or other media arts-related activities. It holds up to 150 people standing or 70 people seated, and is equipped with a sound system, a video projector, 16 mm and 35 mm film projectors, lounge tables, chairs and a bar.
Each producing member of SAW Video can use Club SAW free for one evening and up to three days a year. Free evening access to the club is available on the first Tuesday of each month on a first-come, first-served basis.
Members are encouraged to use the space and are invited to request assistance from SAW Video. For example, should a member wish to screen a short film, SAW Video may be able to assist by finding other members to participate in a joint screening, thereby helping to build a program and an audience.
When producing members request the use of Club SAW for a members' screening, they are responsible for the following:
*A member's screening contract may be obtained from the centre's technical coordinator.

Volunteering at SAW Video is not a requirement for membership, but it is a great way to get to know people in the media arts community, learn new skills, and share expertise. Opportunities to volunteer include being a crew member on other members' productions, assisting with editing, joining one of the centre's committees, or becoming a member of the board of directors. Current standing committees include equipment, fundraising, human resources, information technology, programming, video archiving/preservation and workshop. Temporary ad-hoc committees are also created as needed. Committees are comprised of SAW Video members, staff and board members, and sometimes also non-members with a particular interest or expertise. Please consult the About page for more information about each of the committees.
