SAW Video and Knot Project Space are proud to have presented In Between Remembering, a conversation between with naakita feldman-kiss, Nelly Matorina and Ivanie Aubin-Malo, moderated by Ottawa-based artist, filmmaker and choreographer, Laura Taler. This conversation was presented as part of a series of events that brought together three young artists exploring intergenerational exchange (understood as the processes of learning, modes of relation and collaborative exercises that occur between generations) in their respective practices. feldman-kiss, Matorina and Aubin-Malo each approached the terrain of the intergenerational from distinct points of origin. Through their work with the moving image, installation and performance, each engaged with the flows of knowledge and experience that occur between generations, as transmitters and receivers, teachers and mediators, searchers and protectors.
