The content of this video relates to the idea that contemporary digital technology, while offering seductive material, benefits in contributing to a limited two dimensional image of who we are as human beings. Our bodies and thoughts are fragmented into byte-sized pieces to accommodate an ever-narrowing highway. We see ourselves always within the monitor’s frame. We move and position ourselves in space with this frame in mind. It is limiting. It is digital. Not the whole truth. Traveling down this highway takes us nowhere, especially not home.
