SAW Video’s Knot Project Space accepts proposals once a year through an online submissions process, the results of which contribute to our yearly programming schedule. We seek proposals for exhibitions, screenings, performances, projections, lectures and workshops from artists, curators and collectives who are engaged with media art in installation and/or performative contexts. Applicants may submit pre-existing works, propose new projects, or new iterations of a project.

Please join us on Saturday, February 29th from 6 to 8pm for a screening of Carmel Whittle’s Bringing the Land to the City.
The Media Arts Network of Ontario publication, "Other Places: Reflections on Media Arts In Canada" is now available at SAW Video ($44.95 CAD)! This project maps an alternate set of discourses, practices, and views across the field since the 1970's - and was funded by the New Chapter Grant program.
We'll be closed the Monday, but it's business as usual on Tuesday. Enjoy the long weekend and see you soon!
There will be a short pause in service the afternoon of February 5th, from 1-4pm as we take a long lunch for staff development and tasty snacks! Business as usual otherwise!
SAW Video is proud to be a designated partner and recommender for Telefilm Canada's "Talent to Watch" program! The deadline to submit to us this year is February 14, 2020.
This program supports the production, digital distribution and promotion of a first feature-length film or other format of narrative-based audiovisual content made specifically for online distribution.
SAW Video Media Art Centre is proud to present its annual RESOLUTION screening, on Friday January 17th, 2020 at 7pm. Featuring a selection of videos produced by our members in 2019. This year’s line-up of works showcases the broad scope of artistic practices in which our members are engaged. Artists will be in attendance to participate in a brief Q&A with the audience following the screening.
