Video art using the signs and symbols which make up my existence. In this tape, the space, symbols, and the historical context in which I live as a woman on this side of the continent interact. "Popsicles" is a rosary of alarm of a woman who desires life, light, truth, and solidarity; who sees and receives death and fear. It is a rejection of all that is destruction and death, yet this is depicted almost attractively under the aspect of innocence.
Born and lives in Chile. She has a degree in philosophy from the University of Chile. In addition to teaching, she has worked in magazines and newspapers. She is concerned with social action and women's issues. She studies video art at the San Francisco Art Institute. Her work has been exhibited internationally. (www.givideo.org)
