SAW Video staff are available and willing to assist with all inquiries and requests regarding physical access during operating and event hours (T: 613.238.7648 x.4 or E: email@example.com). All doors at SAW Video have accessibility buttons to press for automatic entry. SAW Video is located on the main floor (one story above ground) of the Arts Court building. SAW Video’s main entrance is located closest to the 67 Nicholas St entrance which is not physically accessible at the present time due to construction. Alternate entry is available through 2 Daly Ave at the Arts Court main entrance or the Ottawa Art Gallery. Elevator access is available through the Ottawa Art Gallery main entrance @ 10 Daly Ave (take the elevator up to the 1st floor, turn left out of the elevator and access SAW Video through large white double doors at the end of the hall). Elevator access is available from 9AM - 11PM.
Unfortunately only gendered washrooms are available immediately located outside of SAW Video’s space. These washrooms are equipped with accessibility buttons to press for automatic entry. Larger, wheelchair accessible, gender-neutral bathrooms are available down the hall through one set of accessibility button equipped doors (see map below).

SAW Video is within close walking distance to the MacKenzie King Bridge Bus Stop and the Rideau St Bus Stop. Rides are $3.50 with cash and $3.45 with a Presto Card, transfers last 90 minutes on weekdays, 2 hours on weekends.
Parking: Street parking is available on 67 Nicholas St. Paid parking is available directly across the street from the Arts Court building at the Rideau Centre. A loading zone is available for SAW Video equipment pickups on 2 Daly Ave (max 15 minutes). Downtown street parking is free on Saturdays and Sundays and free after 6pm on weekdays.
Unless advertised otherwise, SAW Video staff speak and write fluently in the English language only. Individual staff are available who speak French, Portuguese and German.
ALLERGY & SCENT SENSITIVITY
Although we encourage folks to refrain from using scents or bringing food and animals containing allergins, we cannot guarantee a scent/allergy free space.
FREE PROGRAMMING ACCESS
All SAW Video programming events and activities are free to the public. SAW Video works hard to ensure that our programming is accessible to individuals of all financial backgrounds. Our Knot Project Space has no entry fees. We want to show appreciation to those who come out to our programming events and we will never turn anyone away due to lack of funds.
