This film is an account of a man without qualities. He's the leftover face in the crowd who collects images, the unwanted images discarded by people without even a glance. He tells us stories as he moves through no particular time, toward no particular space. Statement: The film was strongly influenced by Alain Resnais' "Providence" (1977). In "Dialogue of an Ancient Fog" there is a continuous flow of thoughts from the main character as he moves through no particular time telling stories.
