Natasha Malakhova was born in Minsk (Belarus). She has a degree in Film and Theater from the Academy of Art in Moscow. Natasha worked as an actress/director/writer in Moscow and Saint-Petersburg theaters and TV for 15 years. In 1993, she came to Canada, where she became one of the founders of the "Broken English" Theater Company. She co-wrote and co-directed the play "Culture Shock" and began to work in film production. She has written scripts for short dramas and documentaries. She produced and directed the short film "The invisible couple's conversation over the afternoon tea" and completed the 5-minute short "Prelude to Ottawa" (2003). Natasha is currently working on a script for a feature film.
